Melbourne radio station 3AW reported this morning that Nick, the son of former Victorian Premier Steve Bracks, won $150,000 on a quadrella (horse racing bet) after seeing the winning numbers in a dream!!
Excited for Nick, we rang him immediately, waking him from a sleep in.
Nick loved the story, but let us know he didn’t win at the races, andisn’t a betting chap although he did lose about $30 on Oaks Day.
He did add however, that he was going to go back to bed to try falling asleep and dream of horses and 4 numbers. He promised to give us half the winnings if he won.
So, the radio report was incorrect but we do promise to call 3AW and tell them if Nick wins $150,000 in the next week or five after going back to bed this morning. Now THAT would be a story!
