Have you seen the gorgeous new blonde model that Marc Jacobs is using in his new campaign? It’s none other than Andrej Pejic, an Australian youngster who settled there after the Pejic family fled Bosnia and Herzegovina in the war.
Is he transgender? Is it a she? Or is the model a very beautiful boy – that’s the buzz online at the moment about the cheekboney blonde.
Well, Motilo can confirm that Andrej, as the name would suggest is male. And no, he is not transgender, just a very beautiful 19 year old boy. His long blonde hair, strong brow and killer cheekbones are enough to make the loveliest lady get a tinge of the green-eyedmonster.
Pejic was spotted by the Matthew Anderson, director of Chadwick Models in Melbourne, Australia. “His beauty,” Anderson told the Sydney Morning Herald, “was extraordinary. He’s also intelligent and it’s amazing, really, that he’s just so comfortable in his own skin.’
The model is already listed as number 40 in the top 50 male models worldwide, and with the Jacobs campaign under his belt and will be very busy with the coming menswear season. Jean Paul Gaultier booked Pejic for his spring 2011 men’s show, he also cast him in his spring ad campaign alongside Czech supermodel Karolina Kurkova.
